Porcelain Veneers... Giving You a Beautiful Smile

When you look at your smile, do you wonder if it could be just a little (or a lot) more attractive? We want you to know about an affordable dental procedure that can fix crooked, discolored, uneven, and unsightly teeth. The solution is porcelain veneers! Veneers are a very popular cosmetic dental procedure and may be recommended in conjunction with other cosmetic procedures to produce optimal results.

What About the Cost of Porcelain Veneers?

Cosmetic dental procedures are often thought of as being dental services that are reserved for Hollywood. Today, this is no longer the case! Porcelain veneers are made very affordable if properly planned and executed. Because each dental case requiring porcelain veneers is unique, pricing them out requires a quick visit to our dental office. Ball Dentistry will work closely with you to ensure your procedure is affordable.

Pick up the phone and call our office at (East 10th Street Office) or (Whitley Dr. Office) or request an appointment online to see just how affordable porcelain veneers are and what the best financial option would be.

Placing Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin, semi-transparent tooth-shaped "shells" that are custom-made porcelain. They are permanently bonded to your natural teeth which are located in your "smile zone" to enhance their shape, color, length, or size. Veneers can fix gaps between teeth and/or improve the appearance of teeth that are discolored, misshapen, or misaligned.

  1. The teeth are cleaned and any old surface restorations are removed.
  2. An impression is taken of the prepped tooth and sent to a lab where the veneer is fabricated.
  3. The veneer is applied with bonding resin and a curing light.
  4. After the veneer is set, it is shaped and polished to look like a natural tooth.

Autumn was fantastic at her work and her personality. Repaired some damage to a front tooth and made it look better than originally. And Dr Smith was fast and gentle to get tooth ready. Didn't even feel the shot. Thank you both for restoration of my smile

After 40 years and several other dentists, I’m overjoyed to find Dr Andrea Ball and her very caring staff! Everyone at the office is so friendly and compassionate…I’m finally over my total fear of dental work (she’s painless!). It really shows how much she totally cares and loves what she does. I can’t forget to mention all of the aesthetics that are offered at this beautiful office. They really do care about the “full face”. Somehow, everyone makes it a fun experience!! If you can’t tell…..I highly recommend!

Been going here for a few years now and have had a good experience. Recently had to get a wisdom tooth pulled. All of my wisdom teeth had grown in normally and my dentist Rachel understood I was fine keeping them, unless something caused the need for one to be pulled. One finely got a cavity and she scheduled me to get it pulled with Craig Ball. Let me just say the staff is sooo nice, and welcoming. I’ve never experienced a nicer group of people that listen to your needs and are willing to work with you. Craig was so nice and I appreciated him talking through it all and making sure I was good with everything. And the dental assistant was so detailed and helpful. Getting a tooth pulled is never a fun experience but I could not recommend them more for making me feel comfortable, doing a wonderful job that I couldn’t even feel it and just being very thoughtful in the entire process. Could not recommend a better dental office to visit.

About Us
How should I clean my porcelain veneers?
Just like your natural teeth, a soft-bristled toothbrush and normal toothpaste can be used to clean your porcelain veneers. It is safe also to use mouthwash, floss, and water picks to clean both your veneers and the gumline. Be careful to not brush too harshly or use chemicals, like whitening agents, unless approved by your provider at Ball Dentistry.
Will getting porcelain veneers ruin your teeth?
Generally, experienced providers like ours at Ball Dentistry do not harm your teeth in the application of porcelain veneers. Veneers can damage natural teeth only when applied in an unskilled or inappropriate manner. In these cases, the dentist may remove too much enamel, but our providers are experienced at maintaining the integrity of your natural teeth as much as possible in the installation process.
How long will porcelain veneers last?
Porcelain veneers are built to last, lasting up to 15 years when treated with proper care and maintenance. We think it's best to stick to a daily oral hygiene routine to address the at-home care of your porcelain veneers. In addition, we recommend avoiding sticky, hard, or chewy foods as a way to extend the life of your porcelain veneers.
