Dysport is a cosmetic wrinkle treatment that improves dynamic lines and creases throughout your face, such as glabellar lines on the forehead. Much like other types of wrinkle relaxer injectables, Dysport uses a purified type of botulinum toxin type A to temporarily soften or block signals to particular muscles in the face. When these areas are treated, the common contractions that result in dynamic wrinkles will be limited, and the overlying skin will be softened. This allows you to frown, smile, and leave your face like that as long as you want without resulting in dynamic lines. It also provides refreshed outcomes that don't make you look overdone. How Does Dysport Work?
Dysport injections are administered in one of our private treatment rooms following your exam and discussion with Dr. Andrea Ball, which will take no more than minutes. A numbing cream is typically not needed because the injections are provided with a fine needle that causes little pain, but it can be applied if requested. Once the treatment area has been sanitized, a handful of injections will be administered across the brow and forehead region, followed by an ice pack to reduce bruising and inflammation. After your treatment at Ball Dentistry, you are free to perform your everyday routine, although you should plan to stay away from heavy activities for at least one day.

Been going here for a few years now and have had a good experience. Recently had to get a wisdom tooth pulled. All of my wisdom teeth had grown in normally and my dentist Rachel understood I was fine keeping them, unless something caused the need for one to be pulled. One finely got a cavity and she scheduled me to get it pulled with Craig Ball. Let me just say the staff is sooo nice, and welcoming. I’ve never experienced a nicer group of people that listen to your needs and are willing to work with you. Craig was so nice and I appreciated him talking through it all and making sure I was good with everything. And the dental assistant was so detailed and helpful. Getting a tooth pulled is never a fun experience but I could not recommend them more for making me feel comfortable, doing a wonderful job that I couldn’t even feel it and just being very thoughtful in the entire process. Could not recommend a better dental office to visit.

How much does Dysport cost?
Your cost for Dysport is based on the amount of product used and on the type of results you want to achieve. What's the difference between Dysport and BOTOX?
Both BOTOX and Dysport are cosmetic injections to correct dynamic wrinkles. Dysport results generally are seen sooner than BOTOX. In addition, some people have found that Dysport outcomes last longer than other wrinkle relaxer products. During your consult, your provider will work with you to whether Dysport or another wrinkle relaxer is recommended for your treatment.
Should I get Dysport or a dermal filler?
