Ball Dentistry offers microneedling, a process that punctures tiny holes into the skin on your neck, face, or chest to stimulate skin restoration. As an additional benefit, your platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can be administered to the same region to help tissue heal and permit the skin to grow new cells. Together, these two treatments can reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles, scars, spots, large pores, and other skin problems. The feel of your skin can be significantly improved to look smoother and more even in tone without damaging the skin. If you'd like to learn more about microneedling with PRP, schedule a consultation with Dr. Andrea Ball at her office in Indianapolis, IN.

Microneedling is a leading option, as it can work to enhance the skin in just one session. With the incorporation of platelet-rich plasma, your outcomes could be even further enhanced. Many patients at Ball Dentistry enjoy numerous benefits from microneedling with platelet-rich plasma, including:

  • PRP boosts collagen and elastin production deep below the skin surface for advanced outcomes
  • Reduced recovery time compared to microneedling only
  • Improves a variety of problems at once, such as wrinkles and fine lines, skin texture concerns, dark spots, uneven skin tone, acne scars, large pores, and more
  • Outcomes persist for a year or more
  • Suitable for nearly all types of skin

Prior to the microneedling part of your session, someone from our team will take a sample of your blood for the PRP collection. The blood will then be taken to our laboratory for the separation process, during which the stem cells, platelets, and growth factors will be condensed into PRP. For the microneedling treatment, Ball Dentistry utilizes modern technology to make small holes in your skin. The small needles used will not damage your skin but instead will help stimulate the production of collagen. When the microneedling is finished, the PRP serum will be placed on the epidermis to sink in. After the PRP is fully absorbed, we'll remove the serum and cleanse the skin.

I visited Ball Dentistry last week for a crown and had an excellent experience from start to finish. They were able to complete the entire crown in a single visit using their in-office scanner and milling technology, which was incredibly impressive and convenient.Dr. Craig and his assistant Misty were fantastic. They were professional, friendly, and very attentive throughout the entire process. What really stood out to me was how comfortable the procedure was. It was honestly the least uncomfortable dental experience I have ever had.If you are looking for modern dental care that combines advanced technology with great patient care, I highly recommend Ball Dentistry.
