How Does a Customized Facial Work?
Following a consultation to choose your best treatment based on your skin type and concerns, you will relax in a treatment room as your facial begins. Every facial will be customized, but most will start with a deep cleansing to clear away dirt, makeup, and oil. After that, steam is often used to safely open the pores so whiteheads and blackheads can be extracted. This is usually followed by a type of exfoliation, either performed manually or with an add-on treatment (microdermabrasion or chemical peel). A mask or serum will be massaged in to deeply nourish and support skin health. Lastly, an SPF moisturizer selected for your skin type is applied to protect from UV damage after the facial.
